John D. Sneed

Group President, TESLA Inc.

John is a co-founder of TESLA, Inc., and the creator of its proprietary energy modeling methodology. He has over 30 years experience in econometric consulting and has worked in the US and UK energy industries since 1988. John co-founded the TESLA group of companies with Jim Streets in 1992.

Jim Streets

Group Vice President, TESLA, Inc.

Jim served for 25 years in the United States Air Force. After serving on flight crews and on staff, he went on to earn his PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan and was appointed to the faculty at the Air Force Academy. He conducted numerous econometrics research projects for the US military. After retiring with the rank of Colonel, Jim co-founded the TESLA group of companies with John Sneed in 1992.

Mark Hewitt

Managing Director, TESLA (Europe) Ltd & Director, TESLA Energy Forecasting (CEE) S.R.L.

Mark has worked as the Operations Manager since 2005. Formerly an electricity and gas forecasting analyst with Scottish and Southern Energy, and the Help Desk Manager at St Clements Services, the UK leader in Power Settlements Systems validation software, Mark has worked in the UK power industry since 1995.

Kevin Yates

Business Development Director, TESLA (Europe) Ltd

Kevin joined TESLA (Europe) Ltd in 2012. He spent the previous 11 years working within the Asset Management and Banking industry as an Equities Analyst. Prior to that,Kevin worked for London Electricity for seven years within their Forecasting and Network Strategy divisions. Kevin has a master’s degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Southampton and is a CFA Charterholder.

Asterios Moschopoulos

Director, TESLA (Europe) Ltd

Asterios has worked for TESLA (Europe) Ltd since 2015. He manages our team of econometricians in London and oversees the end-to-end delivery of our forecasting services to our EMEA clients. Having held different positions within TESLA, Asterios has gained a comprehensive understanding of our services and has strengthened TESLA’s customer-centric approach to product development and problem-solving. Asterios holds a master’s degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Exeter.

Alexandru Budirinca

Regional Director, TESLA Energy Forecasting (CEE) S.R.L.

Alex holds a BA in Business Administration from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and a MSc in Financial Economics from BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. At TESLA (Europe) Ltd, Alex started as an intern, then progressed to become a Forecast Analyst, then Client Support Engineer, then Technical Solutions Manager, and now Regional Director for TESLA’s fourth and newest office in Bucharest, serving Central and Eastern Europe. Alex has an in-depth understanding of both the statistical methods employed in energy forecasting and the software solutions used to support TESLA’s clients.

Tony Baker

Managing Director, TESLA Asia Pacific Ltd

Tony graduated in 1999 from Waikato University in New Zealand with a bachelor’s degree in Computing and Mathematical Sciences, gaining first class honors. In 2002 he joined TESLA (Europe) Ltd as the Technical Manager. Tony returned to Auckland, New Zealand in 2010 to oversee the establishment and growth of TESLA Asia Pacific Ltd.

Mark Todoroff

Business Development Director, TESLA Asia Pacific Ltd

Mark holds bachelor’s of business administration degrees in both Economics and Finance from James Madison University and a master’s degree in Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He began his career at TESLA, Inc. in 2011 as an Economist after successful completion of the Summer Internship Program.  In 2015 he transferred to TESLA Asia Pacific Ltd. to lead the Forecasting Team.  Now as Business Development Director, he oversees the strategic growth of the Asia Pacific business.

Michael Goodman

President, TESLA, Inc.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from James Madison University and a master’s degree in the same discipline from George Mason University.  He began his career with TESLA, Inc. in the summer of 2004 as an Economist on the Estimation Team forecasting short-range electricity and natural gas demand in the US and UK.  He now oversees operations in the Americas, ensuring that our clients continue to receive the accuracy and support they’ve come to expect.

V. Todd Wheeler

Vice President, Sales, TESLA, Inc.

Todd joined TESLA in 2018 to develop and execute sales strategies in North America and Latin America. He spent s 18 years working with power market software developers and Demand Response providers.  He has opened up Latin American markets and built high performing multi-lingual sales teams. Todd has an English Degree from Brigham Young University, and has completed coursework in technical writing, marketing, trading, and organizational behavior.

Shannyn Sneed

Marketing Director, TESLA Inc.

Shannyn joined TESLA, Inc. as the Marketing Director in 2001. She has over 15 years of experience in computer hardware and software sales and marketing. Shannyn represents TESLA, Inc. at industry meetings and events throughout the United States, and coordinates our continued support and meeting sponsorship of all five American Power Dispatchers Association (APDA) regions.

John P. Sneed

Director of Innovation, TESLA, Inc.

John first joined TESLA, Inc., as an Economist in 2001 and has since accumulated over 15 years of load forecasting and research experience both with our company and in the regulated utility sector with 7 years at PacifiCorp. He is now responsible for our Innovation Program which helps to determine TESLA’s research and development efforts, as well as our next strategic partnerships and collaborations.
